Suki-Ya Japanese Buffet @Paradigm Mall, PJ

Eat all u can @Suki-Ya Jap Restaurant!

Going on a public holiday will means fully booked & have to queue for your line.

This is a no-pork restaurant but not sure if it is halal though. You can only sit in for 2 hours, there will be charges applied for any exceeded time.

There is a video at the entrance to teach you how to eat the proper way. Sukiyaki style is to dip the cooked meat with the raw egg before putting into your mouth.

3 choices of meat : lamb, beef, chicken

self-service

There are two pots of soup served, so we ordered all four tastes : Shabu Shabu, Miso Soup, Sukiyaki, & Kimuchi. Those who prefer plain can order shabu & miso.

DIY dessert with the ice-cream machine for Roasted rice, Chocolate, Yam, & Green Tea flavor.

I find that the service is really good, with friendly, effective & observant waiters. The food are of the good quality types with many ingredients inside, & the foods are served fresh too. However, there is not much variety though. Still, I would say that this is a recommended place for a get-together meal.

Ooi~~ Apek Hill!

Apek Hill (a.k.a. Bukit Hartamas/ Bukit Saga?)

(tengok jam) 8.00 am...climb climb climb...

As there are many routes to different Exit, do take note on the 'not very obvious' signage on the trees. We got lost for awhile after accidently went down to the wrong Exit to Jalan Wangsa Cheras & walk under hot sun for some time & found help from the residence for direction. We climbed up the hill again & climbed down to the right Exit to Jalan Awana Cheras.
.......
....

It was really a wonderful hike despite we got lost end up walk walk walk for total near 5 hours. I enjoyed the matrix style walk (to avoid thorny leaves), skiing at the steep hills, camwhoring around, & also the many discoveries of mother nature & Truth about family history while chit chatting through out the journey in the hill.

I like what dad says: "If you want to go for a Trail, you got to be adventurous & be prepared for unexpectations like this"

Sg. Klah Hot Spring @Sungkai, Perak

A good hangout place for family, old folks, couple & friends at Sg. Klah Hot Spring (a.k.a. TRAP - Taman Rekreasi Air Panas). Some 2 1/2 hours journey from Kuala Lumpur to Sungkai, Perak.

Entry ticket to TRAP:
Adult - RM 12.00
Children - RM 10.00
Old folks - RM 7.00
The disabled - RM 5.00

The hot spring park opens from 8.00am until night on weekends & Public Holidays. We reach around 9.00am and the crowd starts to march in around 11.00am.

Basically, the facilities here are quite well managed and hygienic. There are quite a lot of changing rooms, shower rooms, lockers, sitting area, water basin/ taps & food stalls too. Oh ya, do bear in mind that you can't bring eggs, outside food and pets into the park as they will inspect at the entrance security checkpoint.

You can enjoy jacuzzi in a group at RM75/hour (for 8 person) or RM120/hour for an exclusive one.

You can enjoy your 'therapeutic' walk on the hot stones. It's quite fun though~

This is the cold water park Mountain Springs Pool.

Try not to swim around the pool side as it's quite dirty.

This is the other side of hot pool, it's quite warmth to soak in. You can see algae floating around the water though.

I enjoy the best part is soaking my feet in hot water. If you want to dip your whole body like the prawn inside the bowl of hot maggie, don't exceed 30 minutes.

First step into the water, hottttTTTT~~!

Eggs time!
You can get a bowl of 6 eggs for RM5 to have some boiling fun.

The place where I stand smells like rotten egg though~
After having the eggs cooked, you can 'cangkung' one side to eat while soaking your legs in hot water. Nice~

Before we head back to KL, we drop by Yik Mun the famous pau stall at Tanjung Malim. The paus are halal which managed by Malays.

Hope you'll find this blog informative.

As for me, I had a rest & relax wonderful time with my family at Hot Spring Sg. Klah. Perhaps you can consider for your next trip too! ;)
